One of my superstitions has always been, when we started to go anywhere or do anything, never to turn back or stop until the thing intended was accomplished.

The Children of Angels series is a historical fiction fantasy series set in prehistory times that blends different cultures, religions, and stories to show a single origin story for the worlds many mythologies.

Over ten thousand years ago a wicked hybrid race of angels and humans known as the Nephilim, wrought great evils on the world. The powers sent a flood to cover the earth and rid it of these wicked monsters. One family managed to survive the cataclysm and restart humanity once again, hoping to avoid the same mistakes of their past. Five hundred and twenty-five years after the great cataclysm, people have spread out and several city-states are developing around the region, as the long sundered families reconnect, there are some who suspect the Nephilim survived.

Tiras, grandson of the Allfather, leads his people in a new kingdom on a small group of islands far to the west from where they first made landfall. Faced with growing reports of attacks from an unknown enemy, Tiras must choose to ignore the threat or face it head on. As he fights to keep his family and kingdom united, he conceals a secret that may doom them both, from without and from within.

Early Reviews

  • “Loved seeing through perspective of all the characters. Who are the good guys? Who are the bad guys? it keeps changing.... I like that, I am rooting for all of them.”

  • “I liked all the relationships a lot. I think the relationships you build between your characters is one of the strengths of the book.”

    Beta Reader

  • "One thing that I do not see in the plot is characters reacting to everything going on around them, rather than being proactive about what they are going to do and how they are going to take charge of events. That is actually pretty tremendous, and I want to commend you on that. "
