BOOK ONE - Children of Angels (Series will have four volumes)

STORY: Children of Angels is an epic fantasy that follows King Tiras and his family as they defend their island kingdom against invaders who seek to destroy them, culminating in a massive battle where mercy and understanding ultimately triumph over vengeance and hatred.

SETTING: The story is set ~ 10,000 years ago in the regions of the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas.

The Story

Over ten thousand years ago a hybrid race of angels and humans known as the Nephilim, wrought great evils on the world. The powers sent a flood to cover the earth and rid it of these wicked monsters. One family managed to survive the cataclysm and restart humanity once again, hoping to avoid the same mistakes of their past. Five hundred and twenty-five years after the great cataclysm, people have spread out and several city-states have developed around the region, as the long sundered families reconnect, there are some who suspect the Nephilim survived.

Tiras, grandson of the Allfather, leads his people in a new kingdom on a small group of islands far to the west from where they first made landfall. Faced with growing reports of attacks from an unknown enemy, Tiras must choose to ignore the threat or face it head on. As he fights to keep his family and kingdom united, he conceals a secret that may doom them both, from without and from within.
